FAQs

  • Please RSVP by January 20, 2025

  • We would love to have the whole family down in Mexico for the weekend, however, no kids under 17 are invited to the wedding or reception.

  • For our wedding, formal wear is suggested (creative black tie optional). Of course with some flare: suits, floor length dresses with florals, vibrant colors and textures. We look forward to seeing everyone in their finest attire!

We kindly request no white or black dresses be worn on our big day.

  • If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, we ask that you please contact us so we can do our best to accommodate you before the wedding.

  • We will be there for the whole week! We encourage you to come early or stay after the wedding, we would love to spend time with you! We hope that our guests can explore CDMX and make a trip out of the occasion.

  • Please ensure your passport is up-to-date and valid for at least 6 months beyond your traveling period (April 2026). Passport applications and renewals may take several weeks to process so please plan accordingly.

  • Almost all the main carriers, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile, offer affordable and even free roaming in Mexico. We recommend you check with your carrier before traveling. If by chance you roam to Mexico and incur huge roaming rates, call your carrier and ask them if they can activate retroactively a better plan and charge you accordingly.

  • Most places accept cards but it's convenient to have pesos on hand for things like tips, public restrooms, street vendors, etc. We suggest exchanging at your bank before the trip. Depending on your bank, you can also do a currency exchange directly through your banking site to get the Mexican pesos delivered directly to your home.

If you want to change money before leaving the airport there is a currency exchange kiosk right near the baggage claim. However, in the city, you can also use any local atm (for a small fee) and pull out money in pesos. Save the hassle - make sure you let your bank know you are traveling so they don’t freeze your card. Also, you will see the “$“ sign on all prices, but this refers to the Mexican Peso, not the U.S. dollar.

  • The weather is pretty incredible in Mexico City year-round. With an elevation of 7,350 feet above sea level, the city is much more temperate than many places. The average daily temperature is around 70°F and evenings in Mexico City tend to be cooler so pack a light jacket.

  • Yes, and is as safe as visiting most USA cities. Just like any major city, be smart and be aware of your surroundings, but don't be afraid to wander and try new things. There's no other way to get to know a new city!

  • We highly recommend you download Uber and WhatsApp before your arrival to Mexico City. One for transportation and the other is a common free communication app in Mexico that many services use as a way to get a hold of customers.

For translating please download Google Translate or Duolingo! These will help when your Spanglish cant get you by.

  • Don't be scared to try! People are friendly and appreciate the effort. So give it a shot!
